Book Report: The Turmoil by Booth Tarkington

Capping off the Modern Library' Top 100 list at #100 is The Magnificent Ambersons, the second entry in Booth Tarkington’s Growth trilogy. Although other entries on the list reflect entire trilogies or quartets, the initial and final books in this trilogy are not repreented in this entry. The Magnificent Ambersons, which won Tarkington his first Pulitzer, does stand alone. However, I found myself feeling a little cheap by counting this entry complete without covering the entirety of the trilogy. ...
