My Statement on AI Usage on emilygorcenski.com

A personal statement on AI usage on emilygorcenski.com.

Since a lot of controvery and criticism about AI generated content is going around, I wanted to make a statement on my AI usage on this site, emilygorcenski.com.

None of my written content is generated, written, edited, or proofread using generative AI, LLMs, or NLP techniques, except for any situations where I might want to provide an explicit working example of the outputs of such technology for critical or other purposes, in which case it will be clearly stated as such. From time to time I may use a spell checker to catch typos.

Whenever possible, story meta images or images that appear in the body of my articles are created by me, unless specified elsewhere, for instance stock photography or fair use images taken from other source material. In some cases, AI-generated images may be used to call out or highlight an example or criticism of LLM technology.

Code supporting the functioning of this website may from time to time be AI-generated, for instance a spam filter for my Contact form or an nginx configuration on my server. No user data is provided to any AI or third-party subprocessor. Any code presented in an article is written by me, unless otherwise stated to serve as an example or criticism of the output. All design and layout code is authored by me. In some cases, delivered code may be machine-generated, i.e. compiled or transpiled by deterministic tools as per standard practices. It may be that third party libraries or packages used by this site contain AI-generated code.
